How I Can Help

Therapy that helps you understand yourself and feel more like yourself again

You might find yourself stuck in patterns that don’t fully make sense, reacting more strongly than you would like, feeling overwhelmed by your emotions, or caught in a cycle of self-criticism that is hard to shift.

At times, this can feel confusing. Part of you understands things logically, yet emotionally something still feels difficult, unresolved, or out of your control. Even when life appears manageable on the surface, there can be an internal sense of strain, a feeling of holding things together rather than truly feeling at ease.

Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and begin to understand these experiences more deeply. Through this process, it becomes possible not only to make sense of what is happening, but also to gradually change the patterns that are keeping you stuck.

How I Can Help

You might be here because something doesn’t feel quite right, perhaps you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns you don’t fully understand. I work with adults who want to better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change.

I work with a range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety and persistent worry
  • Depression and low mood
  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Trauma and the impact of difficult past experiences
  • Life transitions and periods of uncertainty or change

How Therapy With Me Works

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic models to build an understanding that is tailored to you. Rather than applying a single framework, we work collaboratively to explore your experiences from multiple perspectives.

This may include:

  • Understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact
  • Exploring how earlier experiences continue to shape your current responses
  • Identifying patterns that may once have been adaptive but now feel limiting
  • Noticing how you relate to yourself, particularly in moments of difficulty
  • Developing awareness of how your nervous system responds to stress, anxiety, or overwhelm

A Different Kind of Change

Many people who come to therapy have already spent a long time reflecting on their experiences. You may understand certain patterns or know where things come from, yet still feel unable to change them.

Therapy offers something different.

It provides a space to explore these patterns in a way that goes beyond thinking, allowing you to experience and work through them more fully, with support.

Over time, this can lead to a quieter inner dialogue, a greater sense of emotional steadiness, and the ability to respond to yourself and others with more clarity and compassion.

Ways of Working

I offer a range of ways of working, depending on what feels most helpful for you. We can think together about what might suit you best.

Open-ended therapy

Open-ended therapy

A space to explore more complex or longstanding difficulties at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This approach allows the work to unfold over time.

Focused therapy

Focused therapy

(6 to 12 sessions)

A more structured, short term approach where we work towards a specific area of difficulty, while still allowing space for depth and understanding.

Reflective sessions

Reflective sessions

One off or occasional sessions to think through something specific, such as a life decision, a period of overwhelm, or a situation that feels difficult to navigate.

Clinical supervision

Clinical supervision

I offer clinical supervision for psychologists and therapists. This provides a supportive and reflective space to develop your practice, think about complex work, and maintain ethical standards. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, whether you are in training or seeking ongoing professional development.

Taking The Next Step

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a significant step, and it is natural to feel unsure.

If you are considering starting therapy, you are very welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
